Director of Digital Platform Engineering
Job Summary
To drive innovation and enhance platform strategy, the full-time Director of Digital Platform Engineering will lead cross-functional engineering teams, create a multi-year technical roadmap, and evaluate emerging technologies, including AI/ML, while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Manage the design and development of cloud-native, distributed applications following microservices best practices
- Translate business objectives into a clear platform engineering vision and technical roadmap
- Oversee the integration of emerging technologies and AI-assisted engineering practices into platform strategy
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; Master's preferred
- 10+ years of experience in Engineering, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
- Extensive experience with .NET, React, and Azure cloud services
- Proven track record of leading large-scale transformation initiatives
- Strong knowledge of modern development practices, including Agile, DevOps, and CI/CD
