Director of Digital Technology Engineering

Job Summary

Leading a global team of approximately 40 software engineering professionals, the full-time remote Director of Digital Technology Engineering will oversee the end-to-end technology delivery lifecycle for a custom-built Commercial Banking digital platform, ensuring scalability, security, and alignment with business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop a global engineering organization, ensuring predictable delivery of digital platform capabilities
• Establish partnerships with Product Management and other stakeholders to translate business priorities into scalable technology solutions
• Own the technology roadmap, driving modernization initiatives and ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture standards

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and 8 years of experience in Information Technology, or High School Diploma/GED with 12 years of relevant experience
• 12+ years of progressive software engineering experience, including 5+ years leading large engineering organizations
• Proven experience in building and scaling custom-developed digital platforms in regulated industries
• Strong understanding of modern software engineering practices, cloud-native patterns, and DevSecOps
• Experience managing the full software development lifecycle in Agile delivery environments
