Director of Embedded Systems

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director of Embedded Systems to lead embedded software and firmware engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and drive the embedded systems strategy and technical roadmap
• Lead and manage cross-functional teams of embedded firmware and software engineers
• Oversee architecture design, implementation, testing, and optimization of embedded systems

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
• 10+ years of experience in embedded systems development, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
• Proficiency in Python and C/C++
• Familiarity with embedded Linux, RTOS, and microcontrollers
• Knowledge of cybersecurity practices in embedded devices
