Director of Embodied AI

Job Summary

Driving the establishment of a new business line, the full-time Director of Embodied AI will manage customer relationships, define and deliver data products, and oversee operations for capturing and delivering datasets in a remote capacity.

Key responsibilities

• Close initial pilot deals with customers in humanoid robotics and physical AI, translating their needs into deliverable products
• Define the data product offerings, ensuring quality and prioritizing development based on customer demand
• Establish and manage the warehouse capture operation, coordinating across teams to deliver datasets on schedule

Required qualifications

• Experience running a data operation or product at a robotics or AI data company
• Strong technical understanding of computer vision and ML data formats
• Proven commercial instinct in selling data products or understanding customer needs in the AI space
• Ability to operate at multiple levels, from negotiating terms to reviewing quality reports
• Knowledge of the physical AI landscape and the challenges in training humanoid robotics
