Director of Engineering

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director of Engineering, Materials to lead their engineering organization focused on materials estimation and supplier relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Own delivery across materials estimation, vendor/supplier integrations, and the materials marketplace
• Lead and develop Engineering managers and a growing team of engineers, fostering a strong culture and operating model
• Drive predictable shipping with clear priorities and cross-functional alignment across Product, Sales, and Customer Success

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of engineering management experience, including managing Engineering Managers
• Proven track record of improving delivery in complex, cross-functional environments
• Experience owning a product area end-to-end alongside Product partners
• Ability to lead in unfamiliar domains and earn trust quickly
• A builder's instinct with a focus on delivering impactful results
