Job Summary

Leading multiple engineering teams, the full-time salaried Director of Engineering will drive the vision and strategy for backend systems, focusing on user data, integrations, and activation services in a collaborative, remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for a large backend engineering organization, aligning investments with business goals
• Oversee the design and evolution of backend systems to ensure high-scale, low-latency, and reliable workloads
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to align technical priorities with business objectives and drive execution

Required qualifications

• 15+ years of professional software engineering experience, with 8+ years in engineering leadership roles
• Proven experience leading multiple engineering teams in a high-scale SaaS or data-intensive environment
• Strong technical background in distributed systems, cloud-native architectures, and large-scale backend services
• Track record of developing engineering leaders and building high-performing teams
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
