Director of Engineering

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director of Engineering for their remote team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead acquisition and risk mitigation teams to drive top of funnel growth, reach new markets, and mitigate business risks
• Manage multiple Engineering Managers overseeing cross functional teams of iOS, Android, and Backend Engineers
• Collaborate with cross-functional team members, mainly Product Directors, and report to the VP of Engineering

Required Qualifications:

• 10+ years of overall engineering experience, with 5+ years of engineering management experience
• Experience leading in an agile, fast moving, and rapid change environment
• Expertise in developing iOS and Android apps, and leading teams that contribute to highly scalable server code
• Strong communication and leadership skills with a track record of developing teams and delivering business results
• Bachelor or Masters degree in CS or Engineering is a plus
