Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director of Engineering for Firefox.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead critical teams within the Firefox Desktop organization covering add-ons, localization, updater, installer, core OS integrations, and quality assurance
Define and execute longer-term strategy for the teams
Mentor employees, provide feedback, and collaborate with various teams

Required Qualifications:

12+ years of experience in software engineering
5+ years of management experience, including managing managers and distributed teams
Experience overseeing ecosystem development and operations
Proven team leadership skills and desire to develop others
Able to hire, mentor, and delegate to geographically distributed team members
