Director of Engineering

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director of Engineering to lead and oversee day-to-day operations of the engineering team.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and guide a team of 10-15 engineers, providing feedback and conducting performance reviews
• Lead the development of Engineering Department Strategy and collaborate on product requirements
• Develop processes and systems to enhance team effectiveness and support operational needs

Required Qualifications

• At least 6 years of experience in Engineering Management, with 3+ years as a Manager of Managers
• Demonstrated ability to lead long-term product initiatives and manage impactful tradeoffs
• Strong technical acumen with a deep understanding of product development
• Exceptional collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across teams
