Director of Engineering

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director of Engineering for Data Engineering.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage teams responsible for developing and maintaining cloud-native services
• Oversee software delivery through iterative releases while mentoring and coaching engineers
• Collaborate with engineering leadership and product management to establish strategic plans and technical best practices

Required Qualifications

• BE, MS or Ph.D. in Computer Science or equivalent industry experience
• 10-12+ years of work experience with 5+ years in a management role
• Experience managing large, distributed software development teams (25+ engineers)
• Strong background in building large-scale distributed systems
• Ability to drive architecture and provide technical vision to the team
