Director of Engineering

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director of Engineering to lead the design and evolution of enterprise-level software architecture and production.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and implementation of scalable and secure software architectures for .NET applications
• Analyze existing systems to identify inefficiencies and implement strategies to enhance performance
• Oversee the technical aspects of projects involving offshore teams, ensuring quality deliverables and adherence to timelines

Required Qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience in enterprise software development
• 5+ years of experience in software architecture design and production management of SaaS solutions
• Deep understanding of .NET framework, SQL Server, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Experience with virtualization technologies such as Docker or VMware
• Proven track record in modernizing legacy systems and enforcing security best practices
