Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director of Engineering, Sensor Development Tooling (Remote).

Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute the technical strategy for sensor development tooling, aligning with engineering goals
• Manage and mentor three specialized teams focused on operations, release testing, and development workflow
• Drive architectural decisions and maintain high standards for code quality and engineering excellence

Required Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in software engineering with at least 8 years in engineering leadership roles
• Proven track record managing engineering teams of 20-30+ people
• Deep expertise in developer tooling, build systems, CI/CD pipelines, and engineering productivity
• Strong background in C/C++ development environments and static analysis tools
• Experience with cross-platform development tooling and infrastructure
