Director of Engineering

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director of Engineering, Cloud and Platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead cloud architecture modernization and drive containerization, service migration, and infrastructure-as-code
• Develop and enforce infrastructure standards and operational guidelines for product teams
• Build and evolve the Internal Developer Platform to improve developer workflows and productivity

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive engineering experience, with 3+ years in leadership roles for cloud, platform, DevOps, or SRE teams
• Deep expertise in AWS, Kubernetes, and Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform and CloudFormation
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipeline automation and security automation
• Experience designing and operating highly available, scalable, secure systems in cloud-native environments
• Bonus: experience in regulated environments and familiarity with microservices and distributed systems
