Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director of Engineering.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with cross-functional teams to translate customer needs into engineering priorities and ensure product alignment
• Provide technical leadership, establish best practices, and contribute hands-on to the codebase
• Manage a globally distributed team, conducting performance reviews and fostering a culture of accountability and improvement

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience as a technical lead or engineering manager with distributed teams
• Strong technical expertise in AWS and either Ruby/Postgres or Java/MySQL
• Experience balancing AI/ML initiatives with traditional software development
• Track record of delivering customer-centric solutions in collaboration with product and business teams
• Solid understanding of Agile development and CI/CD best practices
