Director of Engineering

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director of Engineering for Mission Software.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the Mission Software Initiative, managing project execution and tracking technical milestones
• Review IR&D proposals and shape investments around mission software capabilities
• Provide technical leadership for customer engagements and capture efforts related to mission systems

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related field
• 12+ years of experience in developing or integrating mission systems software for defense or national security
• Expertise in Open Mission Systems (OMS), cloud-native applications, and DevSecOps toolchains
• Proven leadership in designing secure and reliable software architectures
• Active TS/SCI clearance; U.S. citizenship required
