Director of Engineering

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director of Engineering to lead and scale its engineering team while driving product development and technical strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and lead the engineering vision and strategy aligned with business objectives
• Own the end-to-end development of new products and solutions
• Build and scale a high-performing engineering team through hiring and mentorship

Required Qualifications:

• 7+ years in software engineering with expertise in Python and Django
• 5+ years managing engineering teams, preferably in growth-stage companies
• Strong experience with SQL, database optimization, and performance tuning
• Hands-on experience with AWS services, Docker, and Kubernetes
• Solid understanding of API design, system scalability, and microservices architecture
