Director of Engineering

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director of Engineering to lead its engineering organization and oversee technical health, delivery cadence, and team performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own delivery accountability and drive the engineering roadmap in partnership with product teams
• Manage external vendor relationships and ensure integration with internal teams
• Coach and develop senior direct reports, fostering a culture of engineering excellence

Required Qualifications:

• 10+ years in software engineering with 4+ years in engineering management
• Strong technical knowledge across Martech and Salesforce-oriented engineering teams
• Familiarity with modern web technologies such as React, TypeScript, Node.js, and PostgreSQL
• Experience managing external or outsourced engineering teams
• Track record at a startup or growth-stage company, comfortable in fast-moving environments
