Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director of Engineering, Solution Architecture.

Key Responsibilities

• Define the technical vision and create comprehensive architectural strategies that align with business goals
• Drive architectural governance by setting standards and managing technical risk across projects
• Design and evolve cloud-native systems focusing on scalability, security, and observability

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering experience, with 6+ years in a senior architectural leadership role
• Proven success with architectural transformation initiatives, including service decomposition and platform re-architecture
• Deep experience designing systems in AWS and understanding architectural trade-offs
• Strong background in coding (Java, Python, etc.) and the ability to read code
• BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
