Director of Engineering

Job Summary

Leading engineering excellence in a fast-growing AI-first SaaS company, the full-time salaried Director of Engineering will oversee the technical lifecycle of Marketplace and Auctions products, driving architectural strategy, team performance, and delivery outcomes while championing AI Engineering Development Methodology.

Key responsibilities

• Own end-to-end technical strategy and architectural governance for the Marketplace and Auctions vertical
• Hire and develop high-performing engineering talent, fostering an inclusive and psychologically safe team environment
• Drive agile delivery practices and define engineering KPIs to ensure quality, reliability, and predictability of outcomes

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 5 years in engineering leadership roles
• Proven track record managing engineering managers and multi-team organizations in a high-growth B2B SaaS environment
• Deep experience in building and scaling SaaS products in cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Strong foundation in distributed systems, API design, and DevOps/SRE practices
• Demonstrated ability to balance technical vision with practical delivery execution
