Director of Engineering

Job Summary

Leading a globally distributed team, the full-time Director of Engineering for Traffic & Networking will manage the development of a multi-cloud network orchestration layer, drive technical vision and execution, and mentor team members to enhance their expertise in cloud infrastructure and data streaming applications.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a globally distributed team responsible for the programmable interface of the networking fabric
• Act as a technical lead, driving vision, roadmap, and execution on various projects
• Drive cross-team projects that deliver innovative capabilities and value to real-time streaming customers

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of experience leading large technical teams (12 or more members)
• Deep technical understanding of cloud infrastructure, particularly Kubernetes and cloud networking
• Experience in developing high scalable distributed cloud-native applications
• Background in building SaaS products and platforms
• Master's or PhD in Computer Science or a related field is preferred
