Director of Engineering

Job Summary

Leading cross-functional teams in a remote environment, the full-time salaried Director of Engineering will oversee the development and scaling of new products and platform capabilities while fostering a high-performance culture and collaborating with various stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop Engineering Managers and their teams across mobile, web, and backend disciplines
• Define and drive technical strategy for a portfolio of new products, balancing rapid iteration with long-term scalability
• Partner with Product, Design, Data, and Business leaders to evaluate opportunities and bring new products to market

Required qualifications

• Proven experience as an engineering leader in building and scaling consumer-facing products
• Strong technical and organizational leadership skills with the ability to translate business opportunities into scalable solutions
• Experience operating in environments with evolving requirements and balancing experimentation with execution
• Excellent communication skills and a track record of building high-performing teams
• Curiosity about emerging technologies and a passion for developing new products and capabilities
