Director of Engineering

Job Summary

Leading the engineering teams in a major platform modernization initiative, the full-time remote Director of Engineering will manage cross-functional teams, oversee release trains, and ensure uninterrupted service for live customers while mentoring senior engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Design and build MCP skills and tools for the TC.Net agentic layer
• Own sprint ceremonies and run quarterly Program Increment (PI) planning to align teams with roadmap milestones
• Directly manage team leads and senior engineers, conducting performance reviews and growth planning

Required qualifications

• 8-12+ years in software engineering, with at least 3 years in an engineering management role
• Proven experience running scrum across multiple teams, including PI planning
• Hands-on coding ability in .NET / C# and experience with LLM tooling in an engineering workflow
• Experience owning release trains on live, customer-facing platforms with zero-disruption requirements
• Familiarity with cloud delivery on Azure, including CI/CD pipelines and DevOps
