Director of Engineering

Job Summary

To lead and mature a global engineering organization, the full-time remote Director of Engineering will manage a team of Engineering Managers and Software Engineers, focusing on engineering culture, technical execution, and the integration of AI into development processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a diverse, fully remote engineering team while fostering a culture of accountability and technical excellence
• Oversee the architectural integrity and performance of ad tech infrastructure, balancing new feature delivery with modernization of the codebase
• Establish core engineering metrics to optimize processes and lead the strategic adoption of AI tools for improved development efficiency

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of engineering experience, including 5+ years managing engineering managers in a SaaS, Ad Tech, or high-data volume environment
• Proven track record of managing and scaling culturally diverse, remote engineering teams
• Deep understanding of modern cloud architecture and distributed systems
• Familiarity with DORA metrics and engineering productivity frameworks
• Practical knowledge of leveraging AI tools to enhance engineering workflows
