Director of Engineering

Job Summary

Leading a global engineering organization, the full-time Director of Engineering will manage a remote team, focusing on engineering culture, technical execution, and the integration of AI into development processes to enhance delivery efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and grow a diverse remote engineering team while fostering a culture of accountability and technical excellence
• Oversee the architectural integrity and performance of ad tech infrastructure, balancing new feature delivery with modernization efforts
• Establish and monitor engineering metrics to optimize processes and lead the strategic adoption of AI tools in development

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of engineering experience, with at least 5+ years in a management role overseeing engineering managers
• Proven track record of managing and scaling remote engineering teams in a fast-growing SaaS or Ad Tech environment
• Deep understanding of modern cloud architecture and distributed systems
• Familiarity with DORA metrics and engineering productivity frameworks
• Practical knowledge of AI tools and their application in improving engineering workflows
