Director of Engineering

Job Summary

To lead and scale a global engineering organization, the full-time remote Director of Engineering will manage a diverse team, drive modernization initiatives including AI integration, and oversee the architectural integrity and performance of the ad tech infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a remote engineering team, fostering a culture of accountability and technical excellence
• Oversee system scalability and architectural integrity while managing technical debt and compliance standards
• Establish engineering metrics and integrate AI tools to optimize development processes and improve delivery efficiency

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of engineering experience with at least 5+ years in a managerial role
• Proven track record of managing remote engineering teams in SaaS or Ad Tech environments
• Deep understanding of modern cloud architecture and distributed systems
• Familiarity with DORA metrics and engineering productivity frameworks
• Experience in leveraging AI tools to enhance engineering workflows
