Director of Engineering

Job Summary

To lead and scale a global engineering organization, the full-time remote Director of Engineering will manage a team of Engineering Managers and Software Engineers, focusing on engineering culture, technical execution, and the integration of AI into development processes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and grow a diverse remote engineering team while ensuring effective organizational design and collaboration with Product Management
• Oversee system scalability, technical debt management, and compliance across the engineering operations
• Establish core engineering metrics and lead the integration of AI tools to enhance development efficiency and delivery velocity

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of engineering experience, with at least 5+ years managing engineering managers in a SaaS, Ad Tech, or high-data volume environment
• Proven track record of managing and scaling remote engineering teams
• Deep understanding of modern cloud architecture and distributed systems
• Familiarity with DORA metrics and engineering productivity frameworks
• Practical knowledge of leveraging AI tools to improve engineering workflows
