Director of Engineering

Job Summary

Seeking an experienced Director of Engineering, the full-time remote position will lead and scale a global engineering organization, focusing on engineering culture, technical execution, and the modernization of development processes through AI integration.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a diverse remote engineering team while fostering a culture of accountability and technical excellence
• Oversee the architectural integrity and performance of ad tech infrastructure, balancing new feature delivery with modernization efforts
• Establish core engineering metrics to optimize processes and drive the integration of AI tools into the development lifecycle

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of engineering experience with at least 5+ years managing engineering managers in a SaaS or Ad Tech environment
• Proven track record of managing and scaling remote engineering teams
• Deep understanding of modern cloud architecture and distributed systems
• Familiarity with DORA metrics and engineering productivity frameworks
• Practical knowledge of AI tools and their application in engineering workflows
