Director of Engineering

Job Summary

To lead, scale, and mature a global engineering organization, the full-time remote Director of Engineering will manage a team of Engineering Managers and Software Engineers, focusing on engineering culture, technical execution, and the integration of AI into development processes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a diverse remote engineering team, fostering a culture of accountability and technical excellence
• Oversee system scalability and architectural integrity of ad tech infrastructure while managing technical debt and ensuring compliance
• Establish core engineering metrics to optimize processes and lead the integration of AI tools to enhance development efficiency

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of engineering experience, with at least 5+ years in a managerial role overseeing engineering managers
• Proven track record of managing and scaling remote engineering teams in a SaaS or Ad Tech environment
• Deep understanding of modern cloud architecture and distributed systems
• Familiarity with DORA metrics and engineering productivity frameworks
• Experience in leveraging AI tools to improve engineering workflows
