Director of Engineering

Job Summary

Leading a global engineering organization, the full-time remote Director of Engineering will manage a team of Engineering Managers and Software Engineers, focusing on engineering culture, technical execution, and the modernization of development processes, including AI integration.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a diverse remote engineering team, fostering a culture of accountability and technical excellence
• Oversee the architectural integrity and performance of the ad tech infrastructure while managing technical debt and compliance standards
• Establish core engineering metrics to optimize processes and drive the strategic adoption of AI tools in development workflows

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of engineering experience, with at least 5+ years managing engineering managers in a SaaS or Ad Tech environment
• Proven experience in managing and scaling remote engineering teams
• Deep understanding of modern cloud architecture and distributed systems
• Familiarity with DORA metrics and engineering productivity frameworks
• Knowledge of AI tools and their application in improving engineering workflows
