Director of Engineering

Job Summary

Leading a global engineering organization, the full-time remote Director of Engineering will manage a team of Engineering Managers and Software Engineers, focusing on engineering culture, technical execution, and the modernization of development processes, including AI integration.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a diverse, fully remote engineering team while structuring engineering pods for maximum autonomy and alignment
• Oversee the architectural integrity and performance of ad tech infrastructure, balancing new feature delivery with technical debt management
• Establish core engineering metrics to optimize processes and lead the strategic adoption of AI tools to enhance development efficiency

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of engineering experience, with at least 5+ years managing engineering managers in a fast-growing SaaS or Ad Tech environment
• Proven track record of managing and scaling culturally diverse, remote engineering teams
• Deep understanding of modern cloud architecture and distributed systems
• Familiarity with DORA metrics and engineering productivity frameworks
• Practical knowledge of leveraging AI tools to improve engineering workflows
