Director of Engineering

Job Summary

Leading a global engineering organization, the full-time remote Director of Engineering will manage a diverse team, drive technical strategy and architecture, and optimize development processes, including the integration of AI tools to enhance delivery efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and grow a remote engineering team while fostering a culture of accountability and technical excellence
• Oversee system scalability and maintain architectural integrity, security, and performance of ad tech infrastructure
• Establish core engineering metrics to optimize processes and lead the strategic adoption of AI-augmented development tools

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of engineering experience, with at least 5+ years managing engineering managers in a SaaS or Ad Tech environment
• Proven track record of managing and scaling remote engineering teams
• Deep understanding of modern cloud architecture and distributed systems
• Familiarity with DORA metrics and engineering productivity frameworks
• Practical knowledge of leveraging AI tools to improve engineering workflows
