Director of Engineering

Job Summary

Leading multiple software engineering teams, the full-time Director of Engineering will provide strategic and technical leadership within the Payment Integrity business, focusing on AI-native software delivery and collaboration with cross-functional teams in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Build and lead a multi-team engineering organization with clear goals and a culture of continuous improvement
• Advance AI-enabled engineering practices by integrating AI tools and automation into workflows
• Ensure scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions through hands-on technical and architectural oversight

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience, including 3-5 years in a leadership role; Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field required
• Extensive experience with Java, React/Angular, microservices, and cloud platforms
• Proven success in delivering enterprise software across distributed organizations
• Strong leadership skills in building and mentoring effective engineering teams
• Solid understanding of DevOps practices and modern engineering methodologies
