Director of Engineering

Job Summary

Leading the enrollment function for a rapidly growing healthcare technology company, the remote full-time Director of Engineering will manage the Payer Enrollment teams to optimize provider enrollment processes, ensuring timely revenue generation for customers.

Key responsibilities

• Own the enrollment outcome by setting goals and managing application success rates to unlock revenue for customers
• Identify and prioritize bottlenecks in the enrollment workflow, directing the team to address the most impactful issues each quarter
• Develop and mentor engineering talent, ensuring the team improves in capability and effectiveness over time

Required qualifications

• Proven experience running an engineering organization focused on business outcomes rather than just delivery metrics
• Strong product mindset with a track record of shipping reliable products that meet user needs
• Experience in hiring and developing engineering teams, fostering talent growth and retention
• Ability to earn technical trust from senior engineers despite not being directly involved in coding
• Comfortable navigating complex, regulated operational environments
