Director of Engineering

Job Summary

Leading the operational excellence of the Engineering organization, the full-time Director of Engineering will oversee software development processes, drive AI adoption, and ensure high-quality technology delivery in a fully remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Own and continuously improve the software development lifecycle from planning through release and post-launch operations
• Establish and maintain engineering operating standards, ensuring code quality and scalability
• Lead the rollout and governance of AI-powered engineering tools and workflows

Required qualifications

• 8-12 years of progressive software engineering experience, including 4+ years in engineering leadership
• Demonstrated experience leading engineering operations and software delivery improvements at scale
• Strong understanding of cloud-native software environments and modern development practices
• Experience managing engineering managers or high-performing engineering teams
• Knowledge of security, compliance, and risk management considerations within SaaS environments
