Director of Engineering

Job Summary

Reporting directly to the CTO, the full-time remote Director of Engineering will manage the engineering organization, ensuring high-quality deliverables and fostering a culture of accountability and ownership among team members.

Key responsibilities

• Directs engineering activities and collaborates with team leads to ensure predictable, high-quality deliverables
• Drives a culture of accountability and ownership within the engineering organization while producing regular performance reports
• Works with Product and Support teams to address quality issues and ensures effective feedback loops into engineering

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in full-stack engineering
• Proven leadership experience in mentoring and developing software engineering teams
• Experience with modern cloud-native SaaS engineering practices
• Hands-on experience with DevOps, distributed system testing, CI/CD systems, and site reliability engineering
• A passion for developing people and fostering collaboration within teams
