Job Summary

Leading the engineering strategy for hardware and embedded systems, the full-time remote Director of Engineering will oversee end-to-end product development, manage large distributed teams, and collaborate cross-functionally to drive innovative solutions aligned with business objectives.

• Define and execute the engineering vision for hardware and embedded systems
• Oversee product development processes, ensuring alignment with business goals
• Build and mentor a high-performing engineering organization across multiple disciplines

Required qualifications

• Proven leadership experience in managing hardware and embedded device software projects
• Strong background in engineering strategy, product development, and cross-functional collaboration
• Expertise in system architecture, hardware design, and embedded software integration
• BSEE or Computer Engineering degree
• Experience with compliance standards and product certifications
