Director of Engineering

Job Summary

Seeking a hands-on Director of Engineering, this full-time remote position will architect and manage systems for autonomous executions, spend 40% of time coding, and set technical standards while mentoring future leaders in a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Architect systems for multi-agent orchestration and ensure high performance with sub-100ms latency
• Review critical-path code, conduct incident forensics, and solve distributed system challenges directly
• Oversee the AI-generated production code pipeline, maintaining speed, safety, and accountability

Required qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience shipping production code with a focus on LLMs in distributed systems
• Strong proficiency in Python (Django, Celery), React, and Kubernetes
• Experience with data layers including PostgreSQL, ClickHouse, and Redis
• Hands-on knowledge of LLM APIs and prompt management for AI-generated code
• Ability to work EST hours in a fully remote setting
