Director of Engineering

Job Summary

Seeking an experienced Director of Engineering, the full-time remote position will lead and scale a global engineering organization, focusing on engineering culture, technical execution, and the modernization of development processes, including AI integration.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a diverse remote engineering team, fostering a culture of accountability and technical excellence
• Oversee system scalability and architectural integrity while managing technical debt and ensuring compliance with data privacy and security standards
• Establish core engineering metrics to optimize processes and drive the strategic adoption of AI tools to enhance development efficiency

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of engineering experience, with at least 5+ years in a managerial role overseeing engineering managers
• Proven track record of managing and scaling remote engineering teams in a SaaS or Ad Tech environment
• Deep understanding of modern cloud architecture and distributed systems
• Familiarity with DORA metrics and engineering productivity frameworks
• Experience in leveraging AI tools to improve engineering workflows effectively
