Director of Engineering

Job Summary

Seeking a hands-on Director of Engineering for a full-time remote position, who will lead product development, grow the engineering organization, and drive execution across product and platform initiatives while collaborating closely with the CTO and other stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day engineering execution and drive rapid iteration cycles from idea to production
• Partner with the CTO on technical architecture, roadmap planning, and engineering strategy
• Recruit, hire, and develop a high-performing engineering team while establishing efficient engineering processes

Required qualifications

• Significant experience in building and shipping production software
• Proven track record of leading and growing engineering teams
• Strong software architecture and system design skills
• Ability to balance long-term technical quality with short-term product velocity
• Genuine enthusiasm for AI-native software development and modern engineering workflows
