Director of Engineering

Job Summary

Experienced leaders will find a remote, full-time opportunity as the Director of Engineering, responsible for managing engineering teams, executing the engineering roadmap, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products in a SaaS environment.

Key responsibilities

• Own the tactical execution of the engineering roadmap, partnering with Product and Design to meet milestones
• Provide hands-on architectural guidance and unblock teams during technical design reviews
• Manage sprint capacity and resource allocation while optimizing agile processes and team collaboration

Required qualifications

• BA or BS degree from an accredited college or university
• 7+ years of software engineering experience, with a minimum of 3 years managing engineering teams
• Proven experience leading Engineering Managers and Technical Leads
• Strong background in scalable architecture and cloud infrastructure
• Expertise in Agile/Scrum methodologies and continuous integration/delivery (CI/CD) workflows
