Director of Engineering

Job Summary

To lead and scale a global engineering organization, the full-time remote Director of Engineering will manage a diverse team, drive technical strategy and architecture, and optimize delivery efficiency while integrating AI into development processes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and grow a fully remote engineering team, fostering a culture of accountability and technical excellence
• Oversee system scalability and architectural integrity of ad tech infrastructure while managing technical debt and ensuring compliance standards
• Establish core engineering metrics to optimize processes and lead the integration of AI tools to enhance development workflows

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of engineering experience, with at least 5+ years managing engineering managers in a SaaS or Ad Tech environment
• Proven track record of managing and scaling remote engineering teams
• Deep understanding of modern cloud architecture and distributed systems
• Familiarity with DORA metrics and engineering productivity frameworks
• Practical knowledge of leveraging AI tools to improve engineering workflows
