Director of Engineering

Job Summary

Leading a global engineering organization, the full-time remote Director of Engineering will manage a diverse team, drive technical strategy, and oversee modernization initiatives, including the integration of AI into development processes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a fully remote engineering team, fostering a culture of accountability and technical excellence
• Oversee system scalability and architectural integrity of ad tech infrastructure while managing technical debt and compliance
• Establish engineering metrics and lead the adoption of AI tools to optimize development processes and improve delivery efficiency

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of engineering experience with at least 5+ years managing engineering managers in a SaaS or Ad Tech environment
• Proven track record of managing and scaling remote engineering teams
• Deep understanding of modern cloud architecture and distributed systems
• Familiarity with DORA metrics and engineering productivity frameworks
• Practical knowledge of leveraging AI tools to enhance engineering workflows
