Director of Engineering

Job Summary

Leading a high-performing engineering team in a fully remote capacity, the Director of Engineering will set technical direction, drive architectural decisions, and actively contribute to coding while managing team development and execution.

Key responsibilities

• Drive architecture and technical strategy for core platform systems, APIs, and data pipelines
• Hire, manage, and mentor engineering team members to foster a collaborative and accountable culture
• Partner with cross-functional teams to define project scope, timelines, and ensure high-quality delivery

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 3 years in an engineering leadership role
• Strong programming skills in one or more languages (Python, Go, Java, etc.)
• Experience in cybersecurity, vulnerability management, or threat intelligence
• Proven track record of hiring and developing engineering teams
• Experience designing and scaling distributed systems and cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred)
