Director of Engineering

Job Summary

Leading the Enterprise engineering organization, the full-time remote Director of Engineering will define governance strategies, oversee AI-native engineering practices, and ensure the reliability of critical identity and audit infrastructures while collaborating with cross-functional teams and enterprise customers.

Key responsibilities

• Define and drive the strategy and roadmap for enterprise governance in alignment with company-wide initiatives
• Own the technical roadmap for AI governance systems, ensuring safe and accountable engineering practices
• Build and develop a strong engineering organization, focusing on talent growth and team resilience

Required qualifications

• Proven experience in leading engineering organizations through structural changes and scaling
• Strong understanding of identity, access control, audit, and policy in enterprise contexts
• Experience with AI coding agents and their impact on engineering practices
• Demonstrated ability to partner with sales and customer success teams to meet enterprise needs
• Track record of developing engineers and engineering leaders through mentorship and clear communication
