Director of Engineering

Job Summary

Leading the teams behind a core platform, the remote full-time Director of Engineering will set technical direction, manage engineering managers and senior engineers, and ensure system reliability and scalability.

Key responsibilities:

• Set a clear technical roadmap and communicate it across the organization
• Manage and grow engineering teams, focusing on hiring and retaining strong talent
• Drive complex multi-team initiatives from design through delivery, ensuring operational excellence

Required qualifications:

• Experience managing engineering managers or multiple teams
• Significant hands-on experience with distributed systems, high-scale infrastructure, or developer tooling
• Track record of owning major technical migrations or infrastructure initiatives
• Comfortable operating across cloud infrastructure and production distributed systems
• Strong track record of hiring and developing engineering talent
