Director of Engineering

Job Summary

Leading a dynamic engineering team, the remote Director of Engineering will manage the Leverage Engineering Pod's strategy and execution, focusing on enhancing delivery capacity across Product & Engineering through three specialized Squads while overseeing agency partnerships and ensuring high-quality outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Own the strategy and outcomes for a portfolio spanning shared frameworks, developer tooling, and partner delivery
• Drive adoption of shared frameworks and services to measurably increase the speed of Product & Engineering
• Establish and manage the Solutions Engineering Squad to accelerate roadmap commitments and ensure quality handoffs of contracted work

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of experience leading engineering organizations as a Director or Senior Engineering Manager
• Proven track record of managing engineering teams through significant business growth, particularly from $100M to $300M in revenue
• Experience in leading platform, foundations, or developer-productivity organizations with a focus on internal engineering teams
• Demonstrated ability in managing external partnerships, including agency selection and statement of work oversight
• Familiarity with AI development tools and their application in software development processes
