Director of Engineering

Job Summary

Driving product outcomes in a remote environment, the full-time salaried Director of Engineering will lead software engineering teams, manage AI-driven development practices, and actively direct data science initiatives while fostering collaboration across cross-functional agile teams.

Key responsibilities

• Define success metrics and set clear OKRs for product outcomes, focusing on business results
• Shape the vision for AI-powered platform features and drive the adoption of agentic development practices
• Mentor and manage engineering teams, fostering a culture of learning, trust, and collaboration

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience leading software engineering teams in Agile environments with a focus on outcomes
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development and a strong understanding of building AI-native product features
• A solid foundation in software development, particularly in frontend technologies and customer-facing experiences
• Experience operating in regulated compliance environments such as PCI DSS or SOC 2
• Ability to effectively partner with Product Owners to shape product direction and outcomes
