Director of Engineering

Job Summary

Leading a rapidly expanding engineering organization, the full-time salaried Director of Engineering will oversee the development of Environmental Realism capabilities, fostering a customer-first culture and collaborating across teams to enhance AI-powered cybersecurity environments in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Build and scale a high-performing engineering organization, developing Engineering Managers and promoting a culture of technical excellence
• Foster a customer-first mindset among internal teams, ensuring the delivery of reusable and well-documented capabilities
• Lead cross-functional execution by partnering with Product Management and other departments to align priorities and drive coordinated outcomes

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of significant hands-on software engineering experience with progressive engineering leadership responsibility
• Experience leading Engineering Managers and multiple software engineering teams
• Proven track record in building complex distributed systems or sophisticated software products
• Strong systems thinking across software, infrastructure, networking, and cloud services
• Demonstrated success in scaling engineering organizations while improving delivery predictability and quality
