Director of Engineering
Job Summary
Leading the Data Products pillar, the full-time remote Director of Engineering will own the technical strategy and execution for clinical data ingestion, canonical data modeling, and scalable data capabilities while partnering with cross-functional teams to drive business outcomes.
Key responsibilities
- Own the Data Products technical roadmap, focusing on canonical data modeling and ingestion scalability
- Manage and optimize the clinical data ingestion pipeline, ensuring data hygiene and observability
- Drive the adoption of AI-powered development workflows to enhance engineering productivity while maintaining code quality
Required qualifications
- 10+ years of engineering experience with a focus on high-scale data platforms and distributed systems
- Proven track record in managing engineering teams handling complex clinical data pipelines
- Experience implementing AI-assisted development workflows to improve productivity
- Demonstrated experience in highly regulated healthcare environments with knowledge of HIPAA and SOC 2 compliance
- Strong operational understanding of interoperability standards such as FHIR, CCDA, and the complexities of clinical datasets
