Director of Engineering
Job Summary
Leading a multi-disciplinary team, the remote Director of Engineering will oversee technology delivery for investor solutions and research products, driving strategic initiatives and engineering excellence within the Institutional segment.
Key responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing engineering organization focused on the Institutional segment
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and execute product roadmaps while implementing Agile software development practices
- Guide architectural decisions to ensure scalable and secure system design, adhering to institutional security and compliance standards
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
- 8+ years of engineering leadership experience, managing managers, architects, and software engineers
- Proven experience delivering enterprise software platforms with stringent security and regulatory requirements
- Deep familiarity with modern cloud architecture, microservices, and API design
- 5+ years of experience with financial risk frameworks and asset management in a SaaS environment or financial institutions
